The Story of BrookRidge

BrookRidge was founded in 1988 with one purpose in mind –reaching people.  For 18 years the church has been committed to providing a relevant and authentic experience of worship for all who come weekly. 

The Merrimack Valley has always been the home of BrookRidge.  Whether in Andover or Bradford, in a school, a mill, or a newly owned building, BrookRidge stays committed to helping people in the Merrimack Valley

BrookRidge has seen significant growth, both numerically and spiritually, in the past four years.  Attendance almost doubling in size in the past three years, paid staff has grown from 1 to 3, with many other volunteer staff helping to keep the community humming along!  Along with the numerical growth comes the spiritual growth.  People are finding their purpose each Sunday at BrookRidge – giving their life over to Jesus Christ – and starting a new life on Monday!  This growth has allowed us to partner with other ministries in the area such as Emmaus House, Common Ground, and Pregnancy Care Center.

BrookRidge is a family oriented church with the goal of reaching people in the Valley as well as growing them into mature, committed believers!

Who Attends BrookRidge?

BrookRidge has literally all types of people – singles, young, older, married, divorced, divorced and remarried, single parent – you name it we have it.  We are equally ethnically diverse.  We don’t like to talk about “typical” attenders in terms of age or gender.  If there is something that ties our whole community together, it would be two words – active and committed.  No matter what age or stage people are in life while at BrookRidge, they are active in life and committed to growing in their faith.  If these traits fit you – you’ll fit in just  great!

What is Your Weekly Attendance?

Our worship attendance is currently about 170 adults and children. 

 What “Denomination” Are You A Part Of?

BrookRidge is not a part of a denomination.  We welcome people of all religious and faith backgrounds to join us on Sunday and find their purpose in Christ.

Who is Your Pastor?

Steve Squires was called as senior pastor in October of 2002.  Currently there are paid staff members that guide the BrookRidge community.  Go to our staff page for more information.
