Prayer at BrookRidge

James 1:5-8 "  5-8If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who "worry their prayers" are like wind-whipped waves. Don't think you're going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open." (MSG)

line1

We believe in prayer at BrookRidge . . . prayer is not just about asking for things, its about reminding us that we're not in control; that it all belongs to God.

Each week at 6am we meet together as a community to share requests and "thank yous" with each other and with God. If you want to join us or if you want to submit a prayer request, email us at prayer@brookridge.org. All prayer requests are shared with the prayer group so that everyone can pray about it If you prayer request is confidential (if you indicate it as confidential), only the prayer coordinator (Ruth Mackiewicz) and a member of the pastoral/elder team will be made aware of it.

Each week you will find the prayer concerns of our whole community here. Please check back each Wednesday and pray for the items you find here. Also, don't forget you can get your own prayer and thank you to God on this list by emailing us at prayer@brookridge.org.
